Refund Policy

Digital products — all sales are final once downloaded

EriDesignAfrica sells digital embroidery design files (DST and EMB formats) delivered by instant download. Because these are digital goods that cannot be returned once accessed, all sales are final once a design file has been downloaded.

When we will replace or refund

We stand behind every file we sell. If a file you purchased is faulty, corrupt, or does not open in standard embroidery software, and we are unable to provide a working replacement, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund.

To request help with a faulty file:

  • Email support@m.eridesign.africa within 7 days of purchase.
  • Include your order reference and a description of the problem.
  • We will first attempt to provide a working file. If we cannot resolve it, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

What is not eligible for a refund

  • A design you simply changed your mind about after downloading.
  • A file that works correctly but differs from your expectation (please review the preview image before purchase).
  • Purchases where the file has been downloaded and is not faulty.
  • Difficulty caused by software you have not configured for DST/EMB formats (we can advise, but this is not a fault of the file).

Each format is included

When a design offers both DST and EMB, both are included in your purchase at no extra cost. Choosing or deselecting a format does not change the price — you pay for the design.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method (via our payment processor, Paystack) within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
